They happen to be reroofing one.
Fairly simple, yet it is claimed they are water tight, for 5 years.
The often seen shiny underside finish comes from varnish.

Appropriate close of 2020

My Horse's name, "No Name". I suppose if you live live enough, you will experience a event that perfectly fits a musical hit. (My apologies to my viewers in certain countries .....well, see below:) Horses are amazing, they are perfectly happy running around without riders, but adapt fairly well to a person jumping on their back. A horse can easily carry 25% of its body weight. That is like me (220lb) carrying 55lbs. I could do it, but I am not sure I that I wouldn't complain. The Google map pictures are very good.

I recommend : Films: Phoenix, Oregon was the highest grossing film at the US box office for three weeks in March and April 2020. I watched this twice, surprising myself that the ending I fell happily asleep with, was not the real ending which was much different. Uplifting. (USA) Phoenix is in southern Oregon , just up the 5 from Ashland. See Phoenix on Google Maps. Antonia's Line a bevy of characters in a small village. Feminist heavy, plenty of good quirky people and one really bad guy.(Dutch) Schneider vs. Bax another character heavy film, this with only 6 actors, trying to kill each other ... for unexplained reasons.... in a bird sanctuary. (Dutch) Teddy Bear Humanizes the body builder. Frustrated in finding a local girlfriend in Denmark, Dennis goes to Thailand to look around. It is not a gay film. (Danish) Books: Shipwreck: A Saga of Sea Tragedy and Sunke...

Parachute

On my evening walk I saw this parachute on the beach. It look familiar. I speak to the owner who is wearing a substantial harness. He says he is just exercising and practicing. The chute is for his powered powered chute. Oh yeah! he is the guy I see cruising the beach about 200 feet up with a gas powered fan on his back. This guy exudes a cool calmness as he floats his kite around. He says he weighs about 70 kilos, that each of the thin parachute cords, must be 40 or so , each will support 150 Kilos.
